ABOUT THE PROJECT: Doppelganger was conceived, created and completed for a fast film, 17 city-wide challenge. The teams had to use the plot elements of 'Greed' as well as the action of turning on a faucet. Due to a last-minute technical hiccup, the film was submitted 15 minutes late - eliminating it from competition judging, but not from audience awards. Doppelganger was awarded 'The Silver Prize - Audience Choice' earning 43.5% of the total number of votes. It also was chosen contest-wide as 'Best Late Film Entry', selected by the contest's New York jury members.
