An epic free-for-all set in the inaugural days of infomercials, this darkly comedic story follows the shadowy evolution of entrepreneur Frank Flood from a carnivorous small business-owner into celebrity mogul of late-night advertising.
Suffocated by “the ordinary life,” Flood shamelessly begs, pleads and double-deals to realize his money-grabbing vision for a line of insoles made from an indestructible gel. Recruiting his mild-mannered store manager Michael with the promise of celebrity, wealth and power that comes hand in hand with being successful, the two will stop at nothing for their chance to step into the limelight.
Set against the sounds of classic motown, "Frank Flood" is the debut feature film from writer-director CJ Wallis. Produced by Elli Weisbaum, shot by Robert Walsh and edited by Jeffrey Zablotny.
